Bei Steinköpfen, welche maschinell gefertigt oder gegossen werden, kommt es zu Lufteinschlüssen im Material und der Kopf kann brechen. Nicht so beim APPO, wir legen Wert auf das Innenleben. Durch Verwendung einer temperaturwechselbeständigen Masse ist er zu 100% feuerbeständig. Die raue Oberkante sorgt zudem für einen guten Halt des Kaminaufsatzes oder der Alufolie. Der massive Steinkopf speichert die Wärme und hat eine optimale Hitzeverteilung. So wird der Tabak gleichmäßig erhitzt und der Geschmack kann sich ideal entfalten.
